Responsibilities: * Managing the SOC team to handle and prevent data security events using
our company and third party technologies. * Effectively and decisively handling events and resources management during events. * Forensic and ongoing event investigation in the aim to further and improve development and capabilities of the system to enable improved security. * Working with many interfaces such as: R&D security teams, agencies, governance bodies etc. * Building, recruiting, retaining and managing the SOC team. * Handling threats according to procedures. * Managing the infrastructure for research and management of online fraud. * Developing various work procedures for effectively meeting team objectives, while setting new objectives on an ongoing basis. * Planning an effective infrastructure for the ongoing collection of cyber. * Evaluating cyber resiliency of company used solutions. * Maintaining monthly staffing metrics and operational metrics related to quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliveries and performance.
4+ years of hands-on experience in a security engineering role.
Solid experience in designing and running secured applications with: vulnerability tracking, logical and physical access controls, identity management, data loss prevention, intrusion detection and DDoS prevention technologies.
Strong understanding of common security attacks and their remediation.
Experience in identifying, tracking and solving security vulnerabilities in open-source components used as third-party dependencies.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS and GCP preferred).
Knowledge of security incident response practices and a customer-oriented approach.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
Ego-less approach and a true passion to educate others and achieve continuous improvement.
